Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with food prep, serve residents, and maintain clean dining areas while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma preferred and may need ServSafe certification. This on-site role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a supportive environment at HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively within the facility.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies may apply.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing quality service.
• All other duties as assigned.
