Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support residents in a long-term care setting. You will assist with food preparation, portion meals, and serve residents with care and respect. You will help maintain a clean kitchen and dining area following safety guidelines and collaborate with staff to meet dietary needs.

Strong teamwork and reliable attendance are essential. Previous food service is welcomed but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
