Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, portion meals, and maintain sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and are able to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and interact positively with residents and staff. COVID-19 vaccination compliance and physical ability to lift and stand are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Positive attitude; communicate with residents, staff and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift up to 30 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs; stand/walk long periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
