Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, serve meals per dietary needs, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.

The role emphasizes positive interactions with residents and staff, adherence to safety guidelines, and reliable teamwork. Certification requirements vary by state; strong communication and a patient, friendly attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Must follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe certification may be required depending on state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
