Job summary

DeCoach Recovery is seeking a Resident Monitor for the 7am-7pm shift in Xenia, OH to provide a safe, structured milieu and non-clinical client support. You will document client activity and assist with transportation and group activities within a collaborative team setting.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, confidentiality, and professional boundaries, with opportunities for supervision and ongoing training in a residential treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Uphold professional boundaries with clients and colleagues.
• Keep required documentation as per policies and procedures.
• Support mission and create a drug-free, pro-social environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, structured milieu.
• Act as a non-clinical resource for clients and provide crisis support.
• Maintain written documentation and reports on client activity.
• Perform facilities maintenance and report issues.
• Handle administrative tasks: phone calls, greeting guests, filing.
• Transport clients to offsite activities as needed.
• Participate in monthly supervision.
• Attend all required trainings.
• Facilitate groups and structured activities.
• Assist with shift change handoffs and keys.
• Perform other duties as requested.
