Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre in Cincinnati is seeking a Night-Shift Resident Monitor to provide a steady, non-clinical presence for clients during the 7pm–7am shift. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, crisis listening, and routine documentation.

You will participate in monthly supervision, assist with light administrative tasks, and help transport clients to activities. Prior health care experience is not required but compassion and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Commitment to client confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, secure, and structured environment for clients.
• Be a steady, non-clinical presence—offering crisis intervention, active listening, and day-to-day answers.
• Document client activity and behavior accurately.
• Facilitate groups and structured activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks (chart reviews, phones, greeting guests, filing).
• Transport clients to offsite meetings and activities as needed.
• Handle light facilities upkeep and flag maintenance issues.
• Give and receive shift reports during a 30-minute shift change.
• Participate in monthly supervision and ongoing training.
