Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre in Hamilton, OH, seeks a Resident Monitor for the 7pm–7am night shift. You will maintain a safe, structured milieu and act as a non-clinical resource, providing crisis support and active listening to clients with behavioral health challenges.

The role involves documenting client activity, coordinating transport, and participating in supervision and training. This position is full-time and on-site in Hamilton, Ohio.

Qualifications

• 21 years old minimum and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active driver's license with a clean three-year driving record.
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Maintain required documentation per policies and procedures.
• Support a drug-free environment aligned with our mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, structured milieu.
• Act as a non-clinical resource; offer crisis intervention and active listening.
• Maintain written documentation and reports on client activity and behavior.
• Perform facilities maintenance and report issues to Supervisor.
• Handle administrative tasks: client chart reviews, answering phones, greeting guests.
• Transport clients to offsite meetings/activities as needed.
• Participate in monthly individual supervision.
• Participate in required training programs.
• Facilitate required groups and structured activities.
• Participate in 30-minute shift-change handoffs and key transfer.
• Perform other duties as requested.
