Job summary

DeCoach Recovery Centre is hiring a Resident Monitor for the overnight shift in Hamilton, OH. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, structured milieu and serves as a non-clinical resource for clients, including crisis support and active listening.

You will handle documentation, coordination of small groups, and basic administrative tasks, while ensuring confidentiality and a drug-free environment. The position runs 7pm–7am, every other weekend, with opportunities to contribute to client care.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Active Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Maintain client confidentiality in all interactions.
• Uphold professional boundaries with clients and coworkers.
• Maintain required documentation per policies and procedures.
• Support a drug-free environment for clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, structured milieu
• Act as a non-clinical resource for clients; provide crisis intervention and active listening
• Maintain written documentation and reports on client activity and behavior
• Perform facilities maintenance and/or report issues to Supervisor
• Perform administrative office tasks: client chart reviews, answering phones, greeting guests, copying, filing
• Transport clients to offsite meetings/activities
• Participate in monthly individual supervision
• Participate in all required training programs
• Facilitate required groups and structured activities
• Participate in a 30-minute shift change with verbal shift report and handover
• Perform other duties as requested

The Need:

We are currently hiring for a night shift resident monitor to join our team in Hamilton. The hours are 7pm-7am, every other weekend. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative team environment, providing therapeutic interventions to individuals struggling with behavioral health challenges. As a resident monitor, you will have the opportunity to help clients overcome barriers, provide solution-focused interventions, and make a meaningful impact by saving lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, secure, structured milieu
• Act as a non-clinical resourcefor clients, for example; provide crisis intervention, be an active listener to client, answer non-clinical questions for client
• Maintain appropriate written documentation and written and/or verbal reports on client activity and behavior
• Perform any required facilities maintenanceand/or report issues to Supervisor
• Perform administrative office tasks, as example: client chart reviews, answering phones, greeting guests, copying, and filing
• Transportclients to offsite meetings/activities, as needed
• Participate in monthly individual supervision
• Participate in all required training programs

• Participate in a 30-minute shift change, including giving or receiving verbal shift report and passing keys to incoming staff
• Perform other duties as requested.
