Job summary

Dismas Charities in Shively, KY is seeking an entry-level Resident Monitor to support a community-based re-entry program. The role monitors residents, ensures accountability, observes behavior, and enforces rules while documenting transactions and activities.

You will work a full-time 40-hour schedule on the 3rd shift (Fri–Tue 11:30pm–8:00am), with flexible scheduling. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of paid work experience.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent and demonstrated ability to work with individuals and groups in both routine and emergencies.
• Must have one year of paid work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors residents, observes and documents accountability, and enforces facility rules and restrictions.
• Assists with managing program services, supports counselors with resident programming and testing.
• Monitors facility through scheduled inspections to maintain health, safety, and cleanliness.
• Maintains knowledge and follows procedures and policies outlined in manuals.
• Works the hours necessary to staff the center and may have reassigned shifts.
• Sanitation: general housekeeping of the center.
