Job summary

Dismas Charities Inc is seeking an entry-level Residential Re-entry Monitor to support custody, security, and maintenance of the facility and residents. The role involves assisting counselors, monitoring residents and program activities, and ensuring safety and sanitation in a community-based setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of paid work experience. The position is relief-based with shifts 2nd/3rd, weekends, and holidays as needed, offering

Qualifications

• Ability to work with individuals and groups in routine and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitors custody, security, control, and maintenance of the facility and residents.
• Assists with managing program services and supports counselors with resident programming.
• Conducts internal and external inspections to ensure health, safety, and accountability.
• Follows procedures and policies outlined in the relevant manuals and emergency procedures.
• Works the hours necessary to staff the center, including reassigned shifts when needed.
• Performs general housekeeping and sanitation of the center.
• Participates in additional duties as assigned by the Director.
