Job summary

Dismas Charities in Kentucky is hiring an entry-level Resident Monitor to oversee custody, security, control, and maintenance of the facility and residents on a 16-24 hour weekly schedule.

The position runs on the 3rd shift, Sunday through Monday 11:30 PM–8:00 AM, with additional hours as needed. A High School diploma or equivalent and one year of paid work experience are required; due to contractual obligations, identification as a Male is required for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of paid work experience required.
• Ability to work with individuals and groups in routine and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitors residents and ensures accountability.
• Assists counselors with resident programming.
• Inspects facility to maintain health, safety, and accountability.
• Follows all procedures and policies including life safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Works shifts as needed to staff the center.
• Performs general sanitation and housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.
