Job summary

Qualifications

• English reading and writing proficiency required.
• Basic understanding of medication administration principles.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Current CRMA certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents within certification scope.
• Verify medication orders and resident identification prior to administration.
• Document medication administration and report any errors or adverse reactions immediately.
• Observe residents for side effects or changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain medication storage areas in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with medication counts, audits, and inventory control.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, nursing staff, supervisors, and healthcare providers.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed, within role scope.
• Participate in required training, in-services, and competency evaluations.
• Assist as needed.
