Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to safely administer medications to residents in accordance with state regulations, physician orders, and facility policies. The CRMA will help maintain accurate medication delivery while upholding a respectful, compliant care environment.

The role requires verifying orders, documenting in eMAR, monitoring for adverse reactions, and assisting with daily living activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CRMA certification.
• Excellent reading, writing and communication in English.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with electronic medication administration records (eMAR).
• Knowledge of medication administration principles.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents as authorized and within scope of certification.
• Verify medication orders and resident identification prior to administration.
• Accurately document medication administration and report any errors or adverse reactions immediately.
• Observe residents for side effects, changes in condition, or medication effectiveness and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain medication storage areas in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with medication counts, audits, and inventory control.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, nursing staff, supervisors, and healthcare providers.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed, within role scope.
• Participate in required training, in-services, and competency evaluations.
• Assist as needed.
