Eskaton in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Resident Medication Assistant to support residents with self-administration of medications and daily care under nursing supervision. The role emphasizes compassion, safety, and independence within a RCFE-compliant setting.

Starting pay ranges from $24.90 per hour to $27.32 per hour, with benefits and a 401K matching program common to the organization. Prior long-term care exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8 hours medication administration training and 85% pass.
• 4 hours continuing education on medication administration annually.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with self-administration of medications as trained.
• Provides companion care including reading and visiting.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Schedules medical appointments and may accompany to visits.
• Promotes independence and safety in resident care.
