Job summary

Cardinal Bay is seeking a Full-Time Resident Medication Tech for Village on the Park Steeplechase. As a Resident Medication Aide, you will assist residents with medication and care, showing respect and dignity while recognizing individual needs and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
• Effective communication with residents and colleagues.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to undergo a routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication and monitors treatment responses as prescribed.
• Maintains accurate daily medication records and logs.
• Observes residents and reports changes to supervisor.
• Ensures infection control policies are followed.
• Counts controlled substances with supervisor and ensures accuracy.
• Supports teamwork and assists residents as needed.
