Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, ensure proper portions, and maintain cleanliness while delivering friendly, responsive service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety guidelines, and positive interaction with residents and staff. Training and development opportunities are provided as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state law.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
