Job summary

Caretel of St. Joseph is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents and staff by providing courteous service and helping maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

You will assist in meal preparation, participate in tray lines, help with serving, and ensure proper food storage and sanitation according to policies and procedures. This role requires high school diploma or equivalent and ServSafe certification preferred, with ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• One year of dietary aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages as directed.
• Participate in tray lines and serve meals to Residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary dietary area and proper food storage.
• Follow established sanitation procedures and report equipment issues.
