Job summary

Culinour is seeking a reliable Cook to join our dining team at our client site, part of the EMPLOYEE OWNERS network. You will prepare ingredients and cook meals following recipes to ensure food safety, quality and consistency for residents.

You will work nights and weekends as needed, be detail oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen. Healthcare or senior living experience is preferred, and familiarity with tablets for orders will help you perform efficiently.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Comfortable following recipes and using tablets for orders.
• Detail oriented and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality meals according to recipes and prep lists.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portions and temperatures.
• Assists with menu preparation as directed by chefs.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
• Stores or discards excess food per safety standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
