Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with food prep, ensure dietary needs are met, and maintain clean, safe dining areas.

You will interact positively with residents and staff and provide excellent customer service while following all food safety guidelines. Training is provided and opportunities for career development exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies where required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
