Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, ensure proper portions, and maintain a clean, sanitary dining environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, positive interaction with residents, and adherence to dietary needs and safety guidelines. Strong communication skills and a willingness to follow instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by State/County law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
