Fairlawn is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Indiana. You will perform a variety of maintenance repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and roofing while supporting resident turnover and coordinating with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least 2 years of driving history.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, AppFolio, and Outlook; adaptable to new tech.
• Superior attention to detail, high energy and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and with the team.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify Fairlawn values and directly handle a wide range of maintenance repairs (plumbing, appliances, electrical, roofing).
• Perform skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
• Handle residence turnover including bids from subcontractors and minor renovations.
• Maintain rapport with current and prospective residents and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Follow policies for approvals on large maintenance tasks and expenditures.
