Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, LP in Irving, TX is seeking a Resident Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Field Schedulers and Resident Maintenance Specialists in the assigned territory.

You will oversee scheduling, performance coaching, and vendor coordination to ensure timely completion of work orders, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence. Strong leadership and maintenance knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years progressive responsibility in a maintenance/call center environment preferred.
• Experience leading teams is required.
• Scheduling/Dispatching experience is highly desirable.
• Understanding of construction, maintenance, or property management essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong planning, organizing, negotiating, and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Solid customer service, quality, and results orientation.

• Lead meetings aligned with seasonal and operational trends, proactively addressing the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with various departmental teams to ensure completion of all service needs within the assigned territory.

Requirements

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $63,909.00 to $79,864.00 Annually. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation: This position is eligible to receive quarterly bonus payments.
