Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a diligent housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, associates, and visitors. Responsibilities include laundering towels and resident laundry, and upkeeping resident apartments.

Preference given to those with a high school diploma or GED and prior cleaning experience; training is provided. The role emphasizes safety and quality during daily operations within our community.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but we will train.
• Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor.
• Bathrooms: toilet bowls, sinks, bathtubs, wipes countertops, mirrors and sterilizes floors.
• Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges.
• Empties and rinses wastebaskets as needed.
• Washes inside of windows as needed.
• Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices including elevators, halls, lobbies, and model units.
• Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals per supervisor instruction.
