Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide to support the Maintenance/Environmental Services team. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, while maintaining sanitation standards and resident comfort.

You will operate laundry equipment, follow infection control procedures, and interact professionally with residents and staff. Weekend shifts every other weekend are required, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Previous laundry experience in industrial or commercial setting beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled laundry and presoak as required.
• Load washers with weighed items and select appropriate cycle and water temperature.
• Dry and sort finished laundry for storage or distribution.
• Deliver laundered items to resident rooms using carts and check for repairs.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
