Job summary

Warren Barr Lincoln Park seeks an Activity Aide to support residents' emotional and social wellbeing through companionship and engagement within a caring team. You will encourage participation in activities, help plan events, and coordinate outings, delivering the high standard of care our residents expect.

Minimal requirement is a high school education; prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable, and we offer opportunities to grow within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a highschool education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain emotional and social wellbeing of residents with companionship and engagement.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and events.
• Assist with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility when needed.
• Deliver high standard of care and attentive support to residents.
