Job summary

Warren Barr Lincoln Park is seeking an Activity Aide to join our caring team in Chicago. You will help maintain residents’ emotional and social wellbeing by providing companionship and encouraging participation in various activities.

Responsibilities include planning movies, parties, games, and crafts, and accompanying residents on outings outside the facility. A high school education is required, and prior SNF experience is preferred; we invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a highschool education.
• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain emotional and social wellbeing of residents by providing companionship.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and plan events.
• Assist with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility.
