East Texas A&M University invites applications for a part-time Resident Assistant in Residential Living and Learning for the 2027-2028 academic year. The RA supports student academics, community wellness, and activities under the supervision of a Community Director.

You must be a sophomore with at least two semesters completed, maintain 2.50 GPA (semester and cumulative), and commit to 19 hours per week, residing in on-campus housing with a two-bedroom unit in New Pride or Whitley halls.

Qualifikationen

• Maintain full-time enrollment status with the University.
• Minimum 2.50 semester GPA and 2.50 cumulative GPA.

Aufgaben

• Build positive relationships and foster an engaged residential community.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for residents and connect students with appropriate campus resources.
• Facilitate community-building activities, intentional conversations, and opportunities for student engagement.
• Educate residents on University and RLL policies, procedures, and community expectations.
• Assist with conflict resolution, policy concerns, and crises, and support operation of the residence hall.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with professional staff; participate in programs and initiatives.
