Job summary

Ridgeway Post AcuteALF is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Activity Director in planning and delivering a creative activities program for residents. You will help organize individual and group activities, prepare monthly calendars, and maintain attendance records in line with regulatory standards.

The role includes assisting with assessments, transportation for residents when needed, and coordinating with staff to ensure programs meet residents' interests and needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferable one-year experience in a long term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and conducting of individual, small and large group activities.
• Assist in developing a monthly activity calendar and maintaining attendance records.
• Assist in discharge planning and development of activity care plans for residents.
• Assist with arranging transportation for residents when necessary.
• Keep the Activity Department clean, orderly and secured.
