Job summary

Elan Skilled Nursing in Scranton, PA is seeking a full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator. You will assist in planning daily therapeutic activity programs and complete unit documentation per facility policy.

Under the Life Enrichment Director, you will coordinate resident-centered activities, train volunteers, and ensure infection control and safety standards are followed. Qualifications include a GED and preferred Bachelor's degree in recreation or related field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with recreation experience in a health care setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with residents and staff.
• Able to follow infection control procedures and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialized life enrichment programs and plan person-centered activities.
• Plan and attend resident outings and conduct individual visits.
• Oversee training of volunteers in Life Enrichment.
• Complete documentation and records for each resident on unit.
• Maintain a safe, clutter-free environment and follow policies.
