Qualifications

• The Life Enrichment Coordinator plans and implements activity programs that meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
• Must comply with facility policies and procedures and report abuse/neglect immediately.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities for residents (large groups, small groups, and individuals).
• Maintain documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
• Input on Minimum Data Set, plans of care, and other assessments and updates.
• Deliver residents' mail, newsletters, and community information.
• Coordinate recruitment, retention, and involvement of volunteers with residents.
• Plan staff functions to increase staff morale and involvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hazardous material regulations.
• Assist restorative programs to enhance residents' well-being.
