Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services Founders Ridge in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant/Recreation Assistant to implement engaging activities that support residents' well-being, social connection, and daily enjoyment.

You will work 32 hours per week (end-of-week), report to the Life Enrichment Director, and help create diverse opportunities for meaningful pursuits, outings, and personal routines.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or be currently enrolled in school.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative and good rapport with residents, staff, families and volunteers.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement activities to help residents pursue meaningful relationships and daily enjoyment.
• Create diverse opportunities for meaningful pursuits, daily pleasures, recreation, exercise, friendships, social interaction, growth and learning.
• Assist residents with activities of their choice and transport to other parts of the community.
• Participate in outings, special events, and daily household routines.
