Job summary

Legacy Nursing is seeking a Registered Activity Director to lead the Activities Department. You will design and implement engaging activity programs to improve residents' psychosocial well-being and social engagement.

You will participate in interdisciplinary meetings, document assessments, and plan calendars while coordinating volunteer efforts and community events as part of a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
• Registered Activity Director certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Activity Department's programs and activities.
• Lead or participate in QA, safety, and care plan meetings as directed.
• Coordinate resident assessments and document participation.
• Plan and post monthly activity calendars and oversee the volunteer program.

Education

High School diploma

Long-Term care experience preferred

Registered Activity Director certification preferred
