Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Director (Activity Director) in Albany, OR to lead a vibrant life-enrichment program for residents. You will plan and coordinate activities, work with a management team, and supervise staff, volunteers, and transportation personnel to ensure engaging daily life for seniors.

The role requires 3+ years of activity program leadership in senior living or healthcare, plus strong creativity, empathy, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School degree required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee life-enrichment activities and events for residents.
• Plan and coordinate arts, crafts, music, drama, and educational activities.
• Prepare monthly newsletters, activity calendars, and meetings.
• Hire, train, and supervise Activity staff and drivers.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers to support programs.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Assist with budgeting and coordinate transportation as needed.
• Collaborate with Marketing on community events.
