Georgetown University seeks a Community Director in Residential Education to oversee a campus housing 225-600 students. The role focuses on fostering holistic student development, mentoring Resident Assistants, and shaping cultural, educational programs within the Jesuit tradition.

Responsibilities include managing occupancy and safety, coordinating with the Georgetown University Police Department, and leading emergency response.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or Social Work.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervision, and administrative skills.
• Commitment to social justice, inclusion, and Jesuit values.

Responsabilités

• Supervise Resident Assistant/Resident Fellow staff and mentor teams.
• Design cultural, educational, and social programming for students.
• Develop Educational Plans and promote leadership development.
• Partner with Faculty and Resident Ministers on student formation.
• Lead emergency response and campus safety coordination.
• Manage occupancy, safety, and security of residential areas.
• Serve on emergency duty rotation and respond to student issues.
