Qualifications

• Understanding of student development principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in advising and counseling individuals or groups.
• Experience in designing and facilitating meetings and educational workshops.
• Ability to market and publicize activities creatively.
• Experience in organizing events and activities to promote student engagement.
• Experience with planning and implementing programs/activities.
• Experience in engaging others in moderately complex diversity issues in on-campus housing.
• Proficiency in programming planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the implementation of the student development program; supervise and train student staff.
• Provide counseling/advising individuals and assist with crisis response; handle student conduct issues.
• Advise Student Government and coordinate program oversight with campus partners.
• Collaborate with Front Desk operations, Housing Assignments and Dining Services to deliver student services.
• Plan, promote and evaluate programs and activities to foster student engagement.
