Job summary

McCormick's Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Bloomington, IN is seeking an Activity Assistant/Aide to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs according to resident assessments and care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to plan and evaluate activity programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, developing, organizing, implementing & evaluating activity programs.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and involvement; document progress.
• Prepare activity rooms and procure supplies; assist residents with crafts and tasks.
• Follow care plans and maintain confidentiality while supporting resident well-being.
