Job summary

Robertsdale Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Robertsdale, AL is seeking an Activity Director to plan, coordinate, implement and execute all activity programs for residents. The Director will lead group activities and assist residents to and from activities, ensuring the spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs are met on an individual basis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of related field experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and execute all activity programs for all residents.
• Lead group activities and supervise participants.
• Assist residents to and from activities.
• Ensure spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs are met on an individual basis.
