Job summary

Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, Alabama is seeking an Activity Director to plan, coordinate, implement and execute activity programs for all residents. The Director will lead group activities and assist residents to and from activities, ensuring that spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs are met and maintained on an individual basis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous supervisory experience in related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Certified Recreation Specialist or 2 years Equivalent Experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED, completion of secondary education, minimum of one year work experience in related field
• Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Must speak and understand English
• Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly, maintain resident confidentiality, treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
• Certified Recreation Specialist or 2 years Equivalent Experience
