Job summary

Providence Park Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, Alabama is seeking an Activity Director to plan, coordinate, implement and execute activity programs for all residents. The Director will lead group activities and assist residents to and from activities, ensuring that spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs are met and maintained on an individual basis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous supervisory experience in related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Certified Recreation Specialist or 2 years Equivalent Experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and execute all activity programs for all residents.
• Lead group activities and assist residents to and from activities.
• Ensure spiritual, emotional, recreational and social needs of residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.
