Qualifications

• Must be certified as an Activities Director in New Jersey.
• Experience in long-term care or a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for improving the lives of senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Develop activity programs that cater to physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of residents.
• Supervise and train activity staff, ensuring effective implementation of programs.
• Encourage resident participation and foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident progress.
• Work closely with nursing and social services to ensure residents' well-being.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and facility requirements.
