Job summary

La Bella is seeking a compassionate Activity Assistant to join our skilled nursing team in Illinois. You will coordinate events, outings, and recreational activities tailored to residents' interests, working closely with staff to weave activities into each resident's care plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes is preferred.
• Strong schedule management to coordinate multiple activities.
• Knowledge of aging issues and counseling for elderly individuals.
• Excellent event planning skills with a creative approach to engaging residents.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families while demonstrating compassion.
