Job summary

La Bella is seeking a compassionate Activity Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will coordinate events, outings, and recreational activities tailored to residents, enhancing their quality of life and engagement.

You will work closely with staff to integrate activities into each resident's care plan and maintain participation records. The role emphasizes collaboration with residents, families, and community partners, with a focus on compassionate, detail-oriented program

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes is preferred.
• Strong skills in schedule management to effectively coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of aging issues, counseling, and the ability to address the unique needs of elderly individuals.
• Excellent event planning skills with a creative approach to engaging residents.
