Genesis HealthCare in New Hampshire is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of our patients and residents through engaging, meaningful activities planned to meet physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs.

You will coordinate monthly recreation activities, document participation, and support care plan discussions. Strong communication and organization are essential to help our team deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities for patients/residents meeting their physical, creative, cognitive, social, spiritual, and emotional needs.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
