Marysville Post Acute is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in delivering a creative, resident-centered activities program. The role works to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs while adhering to federal, state, local, and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferable one-year experience in a long term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities.
• Support communication between staff, residents, families, and agencies to meet residents' needs.
• Help develop monthly activity calendars and maintain attendance records.
• Assist with discharge planning and activity care plans as requested by Activities Director.
• Assist in arranging transportation for residents for outings and appointments.
