Job summary

Hireology is seeking a dedicated cook to assist in preparing meals for residents and staff in Guthrie, Oklahoma. You will guide dietary aides and dishwashers to maintain food safety and sanitation standards according to regulations, while supporting the Dietary Manager in daily operations.

The role requires a short-order cook background, strong customer service, and the ability to pass a background check. Shift is 12pm-8pm, with on-site work in a long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a short-order cook is helpful.
• Customer service-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed.
• Adhere to Federal and State long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation, and follow all Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment.
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager.
