Job summary

Southwest LTC is seeking a Cook for Northwest Nursing Center in Oklahoma City to prepare and serve nutritious meals per dietary guidelines and resident preferences, ensuring quality, safety, and presentation.

This role requires adherence to sanitation standards, collaboration with the dietary team, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Prior institutional cooking is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in institutional cooking or healthcare is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, dietary specifications, and resident preferences.
