Job summary

Anovaeon, LLC is seeking an Intake Specialist to support resident intake, departures, and related services at a federally contracted ICE facility in Alexandria, LA. The role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with children and families in a fast-paced environment.

The Intake Specialist coordinates with multiple departments, ensures accurate data entry, and maintains confidentiality while providing respectful, trauma-informed care in a 24-hour setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience working with children, families, residential populations.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic documentation and information systems.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office programs, and web-based systems.
• Ability to quickly learn facility-specific intake, departure, and resident tracking systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support resident intake and departure processes per facility procedures.
• Collect, review, verify, and document required resident information.
• Enter and maintain resident information in approved electronic systems.
• Communicate intake and departure information to relevant staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist residents and families with understanding facility processes and expectations.
• Support Family Services Staff with resident supervision and daily activities.
