Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition of our community and provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose maintenance issues, perform repairs, and complete resident service requests in a timely manner, upholding company standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, and basic troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or carpentry disciplines.
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) available within 9 months of hire/promotion.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
• Maintain 24/7 coverage through a rotating on-call schedule.
