Job summary

CLS Living seeks a hands-on Service Supervisor to oversee property maintenance operations, lead a maintenance team, and manage compliance and preventive programs across a student housing community.

You will ensure safety, functionality, and high standards for buildings and systems, coordinating vendor work and supporting budget goals. 3–5 years in maintenance leadership are expected, with a valid driver's license and after-hours readiness.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 / HVAC certification is required.
• Proficient with building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Experience with Make Ready processes and unit turnover.
• Familiar with building automation and life safety systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Entrata.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a maintenance team; promote safety and quality service.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and general repairs.
• Manage preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety programs.
• Supervise vendor work; obtain bids and negotiate pricing.
• Maintain work orders and inspection reports; support budgeting.
