Job summary

Accolade Healthcare of Savoy is seeking a Cook to join the dietary team. You will prepare meals for residents according to diet orders, serve residents, and oversee dining services staff when managers are not present.

The role requires experience in food service, at least 2 years cooking, and a Food Handler Certification. This is a full-time position in Savoy, IL with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is required.
• Minimum 2 years cook experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification is/will be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all meals according to the recipes.
• Start and finish shift on time.
• Demonstrates leadership.
• Adhere to dining services uniform policy.
• Fills out required paperwork.
• Prepares all food required to be prepped.
• Serves all meals in the appropriate dining rooms.
• Presents food in an appetizing manner.
• Follows resident dietary orders.
• Assists in other tasks as needed.
